On a Thursday afternoon in October, KPMG hosted a _by Design event to brainstorm on better futures for our healthcare system. Over 60 people from the industry and design consultancies were gathered. Together, we solved pressing issues in healthcare during a three hour workshop.
Together with experts, I defined five challenges the healthcare system is facing, from our ageing society to the shortage of staff in hospitals. Each challenge was presented to a workshop team, were we used design thinking to understand and solve the challenge.
Bringing so many bright minds together resulted in radical ideas for healthcare. We needed something more tangible and easier to discuss to keep the ideas alive. I took the liberty to design the lives of future Danish residents, each living in a world where the ideas created are reality.
